North American Stamping Group was welcomed into Gateview Elementary School located in Portland, Tennessee. This school is a Pre-K through 5th grade with many programs available to students. One of those programs is the STEM program which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. This program is led by Andrea Hess who has been teaching for 3 years.
STEM is one of the ways children learn about how things function together. It offers opportunities for children to use their minds and hands to play, explore, research, and learn. It helps develop new ways of thinking which leads to lifelong skills.
NASG donated interactive tools to Ms. Hess, the STEM program, and the students of Gateview Elementary. These tools will help spark students’ curiosity for learning and allow students to explore how math and science can be fun and useful in everyday experiences.
NASG hopes this demonstrates our support to our community and the education of our young people. Our hope is that local students will have access to the necessary tools needed to support their education.
We would like to encourage our local industries to become more involved with our school systems. Help provide the resources needed to build a better and brighter future for our children.
